You will then receive a call from a trained member of staff who will talk you through all the option available to you and arrange a face to face appointment at your home
The equipment will be set up before we attend your home
A trained Wellbeing officer will attend your home and talk you through the service, Terms and conditions, FAQ’s and answer any questions that you have
The Wellbeing officer will then install your equipment and conduct all test calls including range tests in your garden if necessary
A tailored plan will then be discussed gathering all relevant information such as responder details, medical information, GP details, NOK etc and all paperwork signed
A free Home Hazard Assessment could also be conducted at this appointment to establish if there are any aids and adaptations needed within the home

How it all works
Step 1 –Wear your pendant
Your pendant can be worn either round your neck or wrist.
Step 2 – Press your pendant
If you need to summon help due to having a fall or feeling unwell then all you need to do is press your pendant.
Step 3 – A friendly voice
You will be connected via your unit speaker to a trained operator at our monitoring centre Careium who will assess the situation to decide what support or help is needed.
Step 4 – What action is taken
The operator will act on your activation by either calling your nominated responders, calling an ambulance, and letting your next of kin know or providing advice needed. if you cannot hear the operator or the operator cannot hear you please do not worry. This will be treated a s a ‘no reply’ and the escalation process of calling your nominated responders to attend your home will commence.
