We are run by a Board made up of the Chair of the Board, three tenants, three councillors and three independent people chosen for their specialist skills and experience.
The Board is responsible for driving forward the strategic direction of the organisation as a whole, for setting corporate and business plan priorities, ensuring officer performance and managing risk and accountability.
The Board are responsible for directing the affairs of Solihull Community Housing, ensuring we are solvent, well-run, and delivering the outcomes for which Solihull Community Housing has been set up.
The Board is a group of people who volunteer or are elected. Board members come from all walks of life. They are expected to have some interest, experience or skill which relates to the work of Solihull Community Housing and the communities we serve.
Board members do receive a small payment for their time.
