We are working with West Midlands Fire Service to offer a free service.
Firefighters from your local fire station will check your home free of charge to reduce the risk of fire. They will check your home and give you fire safety advice and fit a free smoke alarm if you need one. This check will take about half an hour of your time.
Visits will be by appointment only at a time to suit you. Firefighters will be wearing uniforms and carrying identification cards. Please ask to see the identification card, and if you need to confirm the firefighter’s identity, please phone the freephone helpline on 0800 389 5525.
