Claims Validation

All claims are screened by Protector claims handlers against an extensive list of validation indicators upon receipt. Where validation concerns are identified and the indicators are completed, the claims are passed to Protector’s dedicated in-house validation team for further scrutiny and strategy planning.

Where Protector has third party validation concerns and wishes to instruct specialist investigator(s) for profile report(s), surveillance etc., Protector will advise the insured of the course of action and the insured will be responsible for the fees of the specialist investigators if the cost falls within the policy deductible. Protector reserves the right to instruct one of its panel investigators or specialist panel solicitors to conduct the above listed investigations.
