We have a team of Estate Assistants who help to look after our estates; including our high and low rise buildings.
They will:
- Undertake fire integrity Inspections of all internal communal areas on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons
- Identify fly tipping and take appropriate action
- Identify health & safety issues and take appropriate action
- Remove pre-paid bulky items (pdf 320 kB)
- Monitor the standards of the cleaning service in high and low rise buildings
- Raise repairs identified in communal areas
- Investigate overgrown gardens
- Investigate low level nuisance
- Improve overgrown or neglected areas on our estates
- Recycle things like fencing, gates and locks to use in other locations
- Monitor the Council’s waste & recycling service
- Investigate inconsiderate parking on areas managed by us
Report estate issues
If you spot anything that is making you estate unsafe or untidy such as:
- trip hazards
- dumped rubbish
- property damage
- litter
- overgrown gardens
- overgrown vegetation
- graffiti
- fly posters
