Criteria for Home Hazard Checks
Customer must be over age of 18, with a risk or history of falls. They must live in the Solihull area and pay council tax to Solihull.
We are not able to provide level access showers, stair and bath lifts, ramps or drop-down rails. We would refer these requests into Adult Social Care for an Occupational Therapy Assessment.
Onward referrals will also be completed if appropriate to Age UK, One Front Door, Occupational Therapy, BID Sensory Services and other related services.

- Newel post rail
- Grab rails, up to 5
- Bannister (stair) rails, up to 2
- Key clamp rails, up to 3m
- Mop rails
- Toilet seat raisers

- Bath boards and seats
- Shower chair and stools
- Bath step
- Bed leavers
- Leg lifter
- Bed raisers
- Bed table
- Chair raisers
- Perching stool
- Dycem nonslip mat
- Reacher (grabber)
- Kitchen trolley
- Half step (requires assessment
