As a leaseholder, we will not repair anything inside your home, but, you are responsible for paying a share of the cost of any repairs to the structure of the building including communal areas as well as any redecoration we do to these areas.
The following is a list which you are responsible for arranging and paying for inside your property:
- – Fittings such as kitchen units and sinks
- – Floorboards
- – Internal non-structural walls
- – Plaster or other surface materials on interior walls and ceilings
- – Front-door and window locks
- – Internal doors and door frames
- – Toilets, baths and showers
- – Radiators, cisterns, tanks, boilers and pipes within your property
- – Gas, water and electricity installations within your property
- – Fixtures, fittings and internal decorations.
You will also be responsible for any leaks or burst pipes, including damage caused to other property as a consequence.
