The ASB Case Review gives victims and communities the right to request a case review to examine how local agencies have responded to previous ASB complaints and consider whether further action should be taken.
If you are not happy with how we have dealt with your report of ASB, you or someone on your behalf can ask us to look at your case under the ASB Case Review rules.
The criteria for the ASB Case Review is:
- You reported three separate incidents relating to the same problem in the past six months to the Council, Police or your landlord.
- OR You reported one incident or crime motivated by hate (due to race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or transgender identity) in the last six months and no action has been taken.
A victim of ASB or someone acting on their behalf can ask us to look at the issue. Under the scheme, the Police, Council and other organisations are required to review their response if someone has complained about ASB and are not happy with the response.
An ASB Case Review can be invoked by submitting an online form, or directly, by calling the Safer Solihull partnership administrative support officer, or by letter or email.
