SCH is always looking for opportunities to build new homes.
The next phase of our new homes programme will see us redevelop the former Lakeside site in Townshend Grove, Kingshurst, and three former garage sites in the Hobs Moat area of Solihull.
The garages on two Daylesford Road sites and the Campden Green site have already been demolished or partly demolished to prepare them for redevelopment.
The next step is to appoint a contractor to build the new homes. To help achieve the best value for money and attract a wider range of contractors, we have combined all four sites into one project.
We will appoint a contractor through the Homes England Framework, which SCH has successfully used for previous developments. The framework includes more than 100 approved contractors.
The procurement process is already underway, and we expect to appoint a contractor by April 2027.
You can find out more about our upcoming new homes projects below.
Planning Permission for the Townshend Grove site was granted on the 15 December 2022.

The existing building was demolished in 2023 and the site secured, pending a confirmation of the future development brief.
