- Someone working for the council; a private, independent or voluntary organisation

What will happen next?
- Anything you tell Solihull Council will be kept in confidence, but they may need to share certain information to keep you safe.
- Solihull Council will listen to your individual circumstances and look at how serious the situation is before deciding how to respond.
- Solihull Council’s priority is to ensure you, and any other people who may also be at risk, are safe.
- They will follow a careful and sensitive process to help decide what to do next.
- They will work together with all of the relevant organisations and give you information and advice.
- They may need to investigate or take further action to protect you.
- They can provide an advocate for you and your carer.
Local Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) and the Solihull Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB)
At Solihull Community Housing, we support and participate in the multi-agency safeguarding arrangements of the Local Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) and the Solihull Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB).
LSCP consists of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group, and West Midlands Police. These partner agencies have a duty to make arrangements to work together, and with other agencies, to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in Solihull.
