Solihull Community Housing (SCH) has welcomed Paul Edwards as its new Executive Director of Customer Experience and Corporate Support.
Paul joined SCH, which manages Solihull Council’s housing service from Orbit earlier this month.
He said: “I’m really looking forward to working closely with colleagues and customers at SCH.
“I’m passionate about the positive difference that social housing can make to people’s lives and keen to play my part in helping to drive a great customer experience.”
He started his housing career 35 years ago as a frontline council housing officer and over the years his career has also included spells with the Commission for Racial Equality, two housing associations and Housemark.
Paul is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Fiona Hughes, Chief Executive of SCH said: “I am delighted to welcome Paul to our senior management team. He has been an influential figure in housing for many years.
“I have no doubt that he will be a major asset to SCH and I’m sure he will make a positive contribution to our organisation.”
