Currently, we are only able to offer a reduce service for mutual exchanges.
The impact of Covid-19 has caused delays and we are currently dealing with a backlog of cases.
Many other housing providers and landlords are also experiencing the same issues. We are working though our cases as quickly as we can, please bear with us at this time.
As a tenant of Solihull Council you may have the right to exchange your home as long as you have our written permission. We will not refuse permission unless we have a good reason.
You can advertise your property and find other tenants looking to swap on the self-help website Homeswapper which has replaced Swap and Move.
Once you have found someone to swap with you, you will need to complete our digital Mutual Exchange application form.
