Our Fire Safety Package: Once you have signed up to your Safe & Sound or Safe & Sound Lite plan, you will have access to a range of add-on packages and equipment. The Fire Safety package is designed to further enhance your safety and security around the home.

In 2017, over 30,000 accidental fires started in homes across the UK were caused by factors such as; cooking accidents, cigarettes and heaters. Although not all of these accidents can be avoided, simple steps can be taken to reduce your risk, and having a smoke alarm fitted can greatly increase your chance of survival should a fire occur.

The Fire Safety Package starts with a visit to your home by a trained member of the Wellbeing Team in which they will review the factors that are most common in causing a fire, together with assessing any personal factors which may increase your risk. We will also provide you with help and advice on what to do to reduce and avoid these risks.

As part of the package we will provide and fit a smoke detector which will be connected to your alarm unit that is provided as part of your Safe & Sound plan. If you require more than one smoke detector in your home, we can also provide and set these up at the same time for an additional cost.

Your smoke detector will be directly linked to our 24 hour control centre, giving you the reassurance that should a fire occur, we can take the necessary steps to alert the emergency services and your nominated responders.
