Our aids and adaptation services

We have many of services available if you need home aids or adaptations.

Aids and adaptations are changes made to a person’s home that make it easier, more comfortable and safer to carry on living there.

If you have mobility issues at home you could benefit from one of our services listed below.

Home Aids and Adaptions

We have a lots of home aids and adaptations available through our Wellbeing service.

  • Home Hazard Checks: A Wellbeing Officer will visit you in your home to identify potential hazards and order low level equipment.
  • Home gadgets: To help you maintain independence and feel safe in your own home
  • Safe and sound support packages: A pendant alarm service to give you confidence in your own home
  • Low level equipment: For people who are disabled or anyone having difficulty moving and coping at home independently

One Front Door – Assessment for works

If an assessment for adaption works is required in your property, please call Adult Social Cares One Front Door referral service on 0121 704 8007 or email ccadults@solihull.gov.uk with your query or request.

Once the referral has been received, someone from the contact centre will call you back for more details.
