Solihull Community Housing (SCH) has awarded a new strategic partnership contract to Dodd Group for the delivery of Hard Facilities Management (FM) services under the long-established Property Services and Maintenance Partnership.
SCH have been working with Dodd Group for more than a decade. The new contract is much more expansive than before, with Dodd supporting SCH and its customers with the overall property maintenance programme.
The new contract is structured as a five-year agreement with the option to extend for an additional five years.
Typical works that Dodd Group will tackle, include:
- servicing (such as gas, fire alarms, emergency lighting, air conditioning)
- repairs to building fabric and M&E installations
- replacement of boilers and heating systems
- electrical installations
- fire alarms, air conditioning and extraction systems
- roofs, windows
- internal refurbishments
- new build / extensions etc.
To celebrate the new partnership, which is worth an estimated £100m over the 10 years, Dodd Group vans and uniforms have all been given a new look to reflect the close working relationship with SCH.
Fiona Hughes, SCH chief executive, said: “I’m delighted that we have been able to award this new contract to Dodd Group. Our two organisations have enjoyed an excellent working relationship for many years, and we feel that the values of Dodd very much reflect our own. We look forward to Dodd Group continuing to support our customers and their homes in the years to come.”
Matthew Lewis, Managing Director of Dodd Group’s Property Services division, said: “Our collaborative partnership with SCH continues to go from strength to strength, and we’re proud to be entrusted with delivering additional services. We remain committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective solutions that support SCH and its customers – while continuing to make a positive and lasting impact in the local community.”
