Movember is here!

November is the month where we come together and raise awareness for men’s health including testicular cancer,
prostate cancer and suicide.

  • Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men in the UK. Globally, more than 1.3 million men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year, the risk of developing prostate cancer increases with age.
  • Testicular cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in young men in the UK however that doesn’t mean men above 50 are not at risk.
  • Across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 75% of all suicides.

It is so important that we encourage men to talk about their physical and mental health, speak to the men in your life – family, friends, co-workers and let them know you are
listening.
