As part of the wider Kingshurst redevelopment, Solihull Council is delivering a project to improve and upgrade Kingshurst Park.
This local investment will provide enhanced and accessible play equipment, new and more inclusive seating as well as work to repair and resurface paths, creating new safer routes through the park.
Work will also be carried out to improve access and visibility at the entrances and boundaries of the park and include new planting and soft landscape works.
Haystoun Construction Ltd. has been appointed to undertake this exciting work, which will commence on Monday 8 September and is expected to last up to 12 weeks.
To enable work to begin, Haystoun will need to erect a temporary compound on site located between Shenton Walk and Redwood House (see image below).
Please be aware, this will not restrict access to Shenton Walk however it may result in increased traffic at times, to allow for delivery of materials. We will work with our contractors to try and ensure any disruption is kept to a minimum.
The use of any loud machinery will be restricted to between the hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm on weekdays and 8:30am – 2:30pm on Saturdays (if required).
