Support for vulnerable people

A vulnerable person is someone who may be unable to protect themselves from harm or from being exploited. This may be because they:

  • have a mental health problem
  • have a physical, mental or learning disability
  • have a sensory impairment
  • are older, frail or dependent on others
  • are socially isolated
  • have an illness.

You can read about the different sorts of support we offer vulnerable people on these pages.
